This website is published by Concepts by maïc ("maïc", "we", "us"), an event design and planning studio based in Sri Lanka. You can reach us at hello@conceptsbymaic.lk or on +94 71 887 9327.

REVIEW — add the registered company name, registration number and registered address once confirmed. Sri Lankan consumer and e-commerce rules expect a trading identity a visitor can verify.

By browsing this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. We may revise them from time to time, and the version published here is the one that applies to your visit, so it is worth checking the date at the top.

Everything here — portfolio work, service descriptions, timelines, indicative figures — is published to show you how we work. None of it is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on this site creates a booking.

Photographs show past commissions. Suppliers, venues, florals, availability and cost differ for every event, and we make no promise that your event will resemble any project shown.

An enquiry starts a conversation. A date is only held once we have issued a proposal, you have accepted it in writing, and the booking fee has cleared.

From that point the signed proposal and its schedule of services govern the work. Where those documents and these website terms disagree, the signed proposal wins.

Any figure mentioned on this site is indicative and quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees unless stated otherwise. Quotations are valid for the period stated on the proposal, and are open to revision if the brief, guest numbers, venue or date change.

Payment terms, instalment dates, cancellation charges and postponement rights all live in your signed proposal. Please read that document rather than relying on this page.

The design of this site, its copy, its typography and layout, the maïc name and wordmark, and every photograph, film, drawing, mood board, floor plan and run sheet we produce remain our property or that of our licensors.

You may view, download and print pages for your own private, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, resell, systematically copy or scrape any part of the site, or use it to train a machine learning model, without our written permission.

Concepts and designs presented in a proposal are shared for the purpose of evaluating that proposal. They are not licensed for execution by another planner or supplier.

Images are published with the permission of the couples, hosts and photographers concerned, and are credited where credit was asked for. If you appear in an image on this site and would rather not, write to us and we will take it down — we will not ask you to justify the request.

REVIEW — confirm that model and photographer releases are on file for every image currently in /public/images before launch.

You agree not to:

• use the site unlawfully, fraudulently, or for any harmful purpose
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system
• introduce malware, or interfere with the site's availability or integrity
• harvest data from the site by automated means, including scraping and bulk downloading
• misrepresent your identity or your relationship with any person or organisation when contacting us

We link to suppliers, venues, publications and our own social accounts, and the portfolio can embed films hosted by Instagram. Those destinations are outside our control and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not an endorsement.

Instagram embeds load only once you have allowed embedded media, because loading one shares your IP address with Meta. See the Cookie Policy.

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, and may alter or remove portfolio content at a client's request, without notice.

The site is provided as it stands. We take care over its content but do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability for event services is dealt with in your signed proposal, not here.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction.

REVIEW — confirm the forum, and whether arbitration is preferred, with counsel. Add a mediation step here if the studio wants one.

We may update these terms as the studio and the law change. The date above records the last substantive revision. This version was published on 19 August 2026.
